Fascinating- and I think I agree in large part. I think that the concept that we are all living in a simulation with infinite “forks” is not too different than the perennial philosophy stretching back thousands of years. I wrote an essay about this and here is one paragraph: If we align these streams, Upanishadic monism, simulation theory, and modern cosmology, a common axiom emerges: consciousness precedes creation. Whether as divine awareness dreaming a universe, or a vast computational mind rendering reality, existence begins not with matter, but with meaning. The Mandukya Upanishad declares: “All this is the Self; all this is Brahman. This Self is consciousness.” In quantum mechanics, observation determines outcome. In digital physics, code gives rise to form. In theology, the Word becomes flesh.
