March has arrived, and with it comes longer, lighter days. Over the next few weeks most of us will enjoy around two extra hours of daylight ☀️

Today, the Trump administration repealed the endangerment finding: the ruling that served as the basis for limits on tailpipe emissions and power plant rules. Without it, we’ll be less safe, less healthy and less able to fight climate change — all so the fossil fuel industry can make even more money.

🚭 As the UK ban on disposable vapes comes into force, watch this short video with @LessWasteLaura from #GreenHealthWeek. Laura was key to the campaign and shares how the ban will benefit the environment. 🌍💚
As part of #GreenHealthWeek, we caught up with @LessWasteLaura to chat about the single-use vapes ban coming into effect across the UK on 1 June.
We wanted to hear what environmental impact she thinks it will have, as well as what lessons the healthcare sector can learn from it.

This is a great move and it is after great work by the @mcsuk , @LessWasteLaura and others that we are seeing a ban on single use vapes from today.
It's one less item (once all the stockpiled vapes are finished) polluting our planet and it is another step in the right direction.

A Scottish Influencer who's been campaigning for a ban on single-use vapes since 2022 says today is the first step in the battle against disposable tech.
The UK-wide prohibition means those caught selling the product face at least a £200 fine and a possible criminal prosecution for repeat offenders.
@LessWasteLaura has been nicknamed the "Vape Crusader" by the media for her campaign against the disposable devices.
Her calls have now spurred national action but Laura is telling us we still need to stay vigilant against new products being pushed by the tobacco industry.
