Mate has just retired as a council ceo. He tells me that the biggest issue in reform run councils is that they think the job is done when they are elected and don’t turn up for meetings which end up being inquorate.

A bar menu is generally à la carte. A decent burger can be a joyful eat. Homemade with a decently high fat content and homemade fat chips it can be great. Not for a fine dining restaurant but in a hotel’s main restaurant I don’t have a problem.
