It’s time the SDP fully embraced what we are: true Social Democrats.
That means putting our country first above all else: ending foreign ownership of our vital infrastructure, protecting British industry, and building a social market economy that serves working families over high finance.
That is the vision I’ll be taking to the country if elected.

If PR in it's basic form was applied it would of produced Lab=220, Con=154, Reform=93, LibDems=79, Greens=44, SNP=16, Ind=13, SinnF=5, Plaid=5, Workers=5, DUP=4, Alliance=3, SDLab=2, UUP=2, TUV=1, SDP=1, Yorkshire=1. No overall majority for any party but lots of horse trades.

Applying the D'Hondt method for PR we would get a HofC looking like Lab=222, Con=155, LibDems=80, Reform=94, Greens=44, SNP=16, SinnF=5, Indep=13, DUP=4, Plaid=4, SDLab=2, Alliance=3, UUP=2, TUV=1, Workers=5. Costed @44000 votes per seat.

We need to end the snobbery around not going to university. Trades, practical skills and every job that serves the community deserve the same respect.
That’s why our policies encourage massive investment in skills here at home, rather than relying on hiring from abroad. 🇬🇧

Calling @blue_labour to do the right thing, resign your Labour memberships, join the @SDPhq and start a tidle wave of publicity that pushes the party into people's front rooms across the country. Labour will not change, the @SDPhq is the future of the blue Labour movement.

When looking at the wealthiest states in Europe with the best quality of life, they are not ones where the state controls every aspect of people’s lives and the economy, nor ones where it leaves everything to the private sector and fails to invest in its people or infrastructure.
It is the nations that take the best of both: letting companies thrive while investing tax revenues back into the people and infrastructure that help the nation thrive even more.
This is the Social Democratic model, and it is what we believe in. 🇬🇧

Our party is currently in a stage of change it has not seen in almost a decade, but whatever comes next, our core aims remain the same.
Improve the living standards of the British people.
Make choices for the future, not just today.
Preserve our British way of life and identity.
It’s that simple. No other party currently offers this, and we will continue to fight for this until the end. 🇬🇧

Decades of state indifference to British agriculture and industry is making us poorer. We need a national strategy aimed at re-industrialisation, supporting our farmers, building more houses and eliminating the UK's trade deficit. Social Democratic policies to fix Britain.

The majority of people in the UK resonate with @SDPhq policies. However, the party never gets traction, media coverage or significant funding. Why is this? How is this situation to be remedied? What are your thoughts?
