It is important to point out that even if he were guilty of minor plagiarism, that is not a death penalty offence!! What was done to him was objectively wrong. The media campaign against Jason (including a certain "left" outlet) was never about academia, it was racism.

"Mental health clinics" run by untrained, unpaid Green Party-affiliated volunteers with no qualifications or background checking?? Bruh do you hear yourself? These ideas are absurd! The entire thing would be a gigantic disaster for patients, volunteers and the party. Christ.

I was having a think about this clip, at first I got what he was saying - but then I realised when he compared to Nigel’s strategy. The comparison was off. Nigel 5 years wasn’t saying “afghani goat herders are stealing your jobs and selling drugs to white girls” Back then it was “you go on a train and in certain parts of london you don’t hear english” He was good at reading the temperature and slowly turning the dial up gradually as people shifted. I would argue it is that understanding of where the acceptable boundary is and constantly pushing up against that which is his biggest strength. Green party should have focused on big community action movements. Organising local groups to help homeless, help people with finding work, mental health clinics, litter picks - clear visible presence in every day British life and showing your values not just telling people them. I’m sure some do this, but given the membership base and the size of the online audience you could have been doing some very big visible & impactful stuff like that. E.g Put 1000 green party members in clacton to help tidy up the town - when farage isn't there This would be a stronger stratergy imo

This part in particular is bizarre. "Senior" figures openly talking about amending the Constitution before spring conference even happens via a ballot of members initiated (presumably) by GPEX, a move that would be so blatantly unconstitutional it would amount to a palce coup.

🚨Shocking stuff. The Zionist faction within Greens have immediately embraced a dictator mindset, and are seeking to rig party rules in their favour BEFORE spring conference, without seeking consent of members. This is, of course, unconstitutional. These people have no shame.
There are also ongoing discussions around changes to the party’s decision-making rules, including whether its conference procedures could be revised to allow future motions to be amended more quickly. A senior Green Party activist told PoliticsHome: “What's being discussed is other routes, like potentially an online ballot of all members [to change the policy], and whether the way conference makes policy needs fixing, so motions can be amended at spring conference.”

This is just a quick & simple update to say that Stats for Lefties is shutting down. You may have noticed over the past year that Stats for Lefties has been slowing down, especially in the past several months. This a direct result of my physical disabilities and chronic illnesses worsening, making me unfit to work & unable to do things I love. One of the things I have had to give up for the sake of my health is this project. I’m deeply sad about it, but I think eight years of it is long enough.
