Thanks to the 40+ friends of @TulaneAthletics (including ten Olive & Blue Society members!) who came together in Atlanta last night to celebrate the rise of Green Wave Athletics and toast to the future. And a special thank you to Mark & Diana Tipton for hosting such a fun event.

From Year 1 to Year 28, they all have one thing in common: they’re Eagles. 🦅 Together, our 12 varsity and spirit head coaches have spent a combined 80 years at AU. Happy National Coaches Day to the leaders of our programs! #NationalCoachesDay

Friday night was a good night as Miller Place High School named the court after my dad. Was great to see so many of his former players, colleagues & friends in attendance. A well deserved honor as he impacted so many lives during his career while winning plenty of games!

The Goldberg family deserves this tribute! During my time as AD at A U ,1995-2000,Barry was a Champion!

First-ever @AU_Volleyball match on Barry Goldberg Court tonight. Four years ago, one of the greatest to ever coach the sport won his 800th game during his final season. He passed away from cancer seven months later. Looking forward to honoring his memory, unveiling our 2025 Patriot League Championship banner, and cheering on the 48th edition of #AUVB tonight in the Meltzer Center under first-year head coach Jenny Glenn! 📰 aueagles.link/vb-opener

The folks who created the problem continue to have oversight for the programs! The congressional action is only a temporary solution! Embrace the competitive spirit!

🚨 NCAA college athletics is out of control 🚨 Reason No. 1001 why we need congressional intervention such as the bipartisan Protect College Sports Act... While convenient critics and those certain tedious substacademics love to talk problems to death without ever offering any viable solutions, actual administrators are left dealing with the wreckage. Here, the presidents of mid-majors Dayton and Saint Mary’s break down the current, completely CHAOTIC NCAA landscape on another excellent Dr. Karen Weaver podcast:

Rodger Wyland@RodgerWylandApr 27
The Legendary Richard “Doc” Sauers passed away on Monday at the age of 96. He won 702 games in 41 year as the head coach the UAlbany men’s basketball program. Doc was a phenomenal coach but he was also a great father and husband. He lived a great a great life. RIP Doc @WNYT

That’s Golf! Play the entire rounds! Rory made the adjustments to become the third person to win back to back Masters!

Watching my golf and seeing Rory McILROY falling about by the seams. Bad enough he lost a 6-Shot lead on Saturday, walking into Sunday as a co-leader, but now he’s missing gimme’s, surrending the lead to Cameron Young, who’s now got a 2-Shot lead. Not Good. Not Good at all

This new age of CFB will possibly have 35-40 coaching openings this hiring cycle. I hope (hope is not a strategy BTW) that worthy black assistant/head coaches get a chance to get some of those jobs. Going to be interesting. #CFB #TransferPortal #NIL

Congrats Will on a great year!

Proud of our team. We had a good season finishing 18-3. Tied with a talented & undefeated team with 2+ min to go. Hurt ourselves with untimely turnovers down the stretch. Have to get shots! Credit to CBA's defense/physicality. No consolation here. We prepared to win!

Everyone agrees college sports is broken. I’ll be at the White House tomorrow for the college sports panel. @realDonaldTrump wants to fix the mess. As fans, what are your top suggestions to fix college sports for future generations? I have lots of ideas, what are yours?
