Watch Spain at 1-0 last night. That’s courage. That’s bravery. And then watch England at 1-0. What’s the difference?
We are a better team than Argentina, I’ve no doubt in my mind. But we deserved to get beat in the end. In fact, it could have been 4-1.
Bringing on 3 defenders at 1-0 up. What message does that send? I wrote it in my Daily Mail column after the Mexico game. Until we understand that courage and bravery is controlling possession under pressure and not booting / heading it up the field 40 yards then this will always be the end result.

The message from the @premierleague couldn’t be clearer. If we think you’re an important part of our brand, we’ll only pretend to punish you. But if you’re Everton or Forest, guilty of a much lesser rules breach, we will try to relegate you. Transparent and indefensible
When did “in that moment” become every football commentators go to phrase? It sounds like a phrase a non-native English speaker might use, but now it’s everywhere.
Week in week out in Super League we’ve seen Mikey Lewis being ‘a horrible little shithouse’ and that is what makes him loved at Hull KR and hated by everyone else… where is that player this afternoon? Almost like he’s been told to not get into anything borderline
CBS staggering around like the town drunk… this is when serious damage gets done #ZurdoBilliamSmith
CBS has the power to deal with Zurdo… but unless he starts to really step it up then this fight will be out of reach quite soon. #ZurdoBilliamSmith
So much for Saudi being the new home of boxing… the money might bring the fights there, but clearly no massive appetite for people to go and watch. Decent card tonight, but the venue is half empty.
