In light of the passing yesterday of the great George Chuvalo, here’s one more clip of him from a classic episode of Boxing’s Best Interview Show Ever, @InThisCornerTV. George was a cool dude and a genuinely nice guy, despite how damn tough he was inside the ring. And boy, was he ever tough and durable. One of the toughest men to ever lace ’em up. Rest in peace, George. 🥊🙏 #RIPGeorgeChuvalo #InThisCornerWithJamesSmith #Boxing

EVERYTHING IN BOXING IS BACKWARDS. 🥊 How many times have I used this quote from @morgan_freeman in Million Dollar Baby? Well, here’s yet another example of boxing’s recent ludicrousness. Jake Paul can actually fight Mike Tyson and Anthony Joshua — yet Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury have never fought each other. And if and when they finally do, it might not even happen in the U.K., where it absolutely belongs — not to mention it’ll be about a decade too late. LUDICROUS. Like Morgan and Smitty keep saying… EVERYTHING IN BOXING 🥊 IS BACKWARDS.
