Hello my Rust people,
🚨Published First GPUI article in our learning GPUI (A Rust UI Framework) series
I hope you'll love it and please share and show your support, this really means a lot
I have to show off how insanely fast GPUI Component runs with WASM on the web.
You may not even realize this is built with GPUI + WASM.
This DataTable demo has 1 million rows — one of GPUI Component's performance highlights.

New release 🎉
Yesterday I published a new major version of my package pub.dev/packages/hmr in which I completely redesigned the way to manage hot-reloading through the use of Dart VM with a feeling at ViteJS.

Zed has now removed AGPL licensing from the core repository to simplify use for OSS developers and large enterprises, and replaced it with standard GPL licenses.
If you're interested in using OSS Zed at work but couldn't get your legal teams on board due to AGPL - this should help! Reach out to [email protected] if we can help you get Zed approved at work.

Very happy to have led this project! The debug of authentication flows is always a calvary but it's over thanks to Compass ! 🧭
🧭 New in FerrisKey: Compass
Authentication flows can fail in many places.
Finding where was often the hardest part.
Compass lets you trace the full auth flow and see exactly where a user got blocked.
Debug IAM flows in seconds.

Mole 1.26 is live. The Mac cleaning tool that can free up tens of GBs in one go.
github.com/tw93/Mole
Here’s what’s new:
· mo clean: safer dev cleanup for Xcode, CoreSimulator, Cryptex, Flutter, plus clearer scan progress.
· mo uninstall: more complete removal with DiagnosticReports cleanup, full path preview, and better scan and metadata visibility.
· mo analyze: faster overview by skipping external disks by default, use mo analyze /Volumes when needed.
· mo purge: Vim style j and k navigation, improved path readability.
· UX and stability: consistent -h and –help, better Ghostty quick launch behavior, fixes for permission denied silent exits, plus new regression tests.
If Mole helps, I’d love your ideas on where to dig deeper for safe cleanup and more hidden junk.

This fall, we shipped a Settings UI. Seems simple, right?
Under the hood: refactored our entire settings architecture, taught GPUI new tricks, and accidentally broke auto-update along the way.
Here's the story of how we rebuilt settings in Zed: zed.dev/blog/settings-ui
