Vote NO on Prop 320. It’s a Trojan horse designed to sound good, but ultimately wreck public education.
Rep/Lobbyist Matt Gress sponsored Prop 320. Gress knows it will cause CUTS to services our students need. Gress knows Prop 320 will ultimately cause CUTS to public school funding overall.
🚨Matt Gress is a Paid Lobbyist for a national org that works to dismantle public education. Lobbyist Gress used his position in our legislature to put Prop 320 on the ballot. Gress is doing his employer’s bidding at the expense of AZ children. #LD4

Prop 320 started as HCR 2007, sponsored by paid lobbyist Gress and was passed in the wee hrs at end of session.
Why does this bill apply only to certain districts and not charter or private schools that also receive public funding? Many questions and concerns about this bill.

In tonight’s debate, I expect my opponent to try to distance himself from his extreme record. So we’re making sure Arizona voters hear his out of touch positions in his own words— here’s his take on abortion, the 2020 election, and Arizona’s water supply.
And tonight, I’m going to make sure Arizonans hear the truth about his record and the threat it poses to Arizona families and the future of our state.

Private schools, even ones subsidized by your tax dollars, don't have to take every child. In Texas, of 257 voucher schools surveyed by the Texas Observer, fewer than a dozen said they offer special education.
Children the system won't take land back in public schools. And those schools—which do have to take every child—are in crisis, from low reading and math scores to widespread chronic absenteeism.

Goldwater unable to name a single person/organization that supports Prop 320. Meanwhile Jimmy Arwood was cut off listing opposition…not a great look @GoldwaterInst.
Remember to vote out the Republicans that sent this terrible idea to voters, and vote no on Prop 320 in November.

Remember when men *on here* were telling women that we were overreacting about the U.S. men’s Olympic hockey team laughing at Trump’s joke about the women’s hockey team? This is why we’ll keep overreacting, thanks.

Why is this funny? Why didn’t any of the adults in the room question why the potential number 1 draft pick thinks it’s humorous to “slap” a female reporter (who is one of the best in the business). Some big apologies need to be coming from @UTexas_Sports

State Rep. @MatthewGress doesn't disclose that Gretchen Jacobs is a high-powered lobbyist and a donor to his re-election campaign.
Every child deserves to be safe, supported, and given the opportunity to thrive.
Gretchen’s story — and Ava’s — are a powerful reminder of why this work matters. When Gretchen came to me after her daughter, a child with special needs, was abused at school, I knew we had to act.
I’m proud we worked to help families like hers get faster access to the services and support their children need.
Thank you, Gretchen, for trusting me with your family’s story and for being such a strong advocate for Ava and other Arizona children.
This is why I serve — to listen, take action, and deliver results for Arizona families.
