So here’s Matt Gress displaying his utter political hypocrisy. Matt voted to end mail in voting and thank goodness Hobbs vetoed it. But then Matt voted to refer Prop 144 which will end mail in ballots. Matt is a hypocrite. Don’t be like Matt!

Made up awards AND made up policy positions. If Lobbyist Matt Gress really wanted to “increase teacher pay,” he wouldn’t have blocked Prop123 renewal. And he wouldn’t have sponsored #Prop320, which will ultimately result in funding cuts to public schools and teacher pay.
Plus, Gress is using his position in our legislature to advance his employer’s objectives. He gets paid to be a registered lobbyist in other states, then pushes those same ideas here, including his employer’s goal to dismantle public schools. #LD4

What a headline! ⬇️ Prop 144 is INTENTIONALLY deceptive- yet every AZ Republican legislator is supporting it. Like #Prop144, all the Props the GOP members referred to the ballot are a bunch of sneaky, smoke and mirrors designed to trick voters and rile up their base.
Kudos to Robert Robb, a thoughtful fiscal conservative for highlighting the current GOP’s hypocrisy.

State Rep. Matt Gress has touted getting a "Maricopa County Excellence Award" on social media amid his reelection fight.
But the county board of supervisors never created such an award. Instead, it was given out by a supervisor without board approval.

HAPPENING NOW: Judge Reyes is furious. She has repeatedly told the government to inform her before any major demolition work was done on the golf course. The abrupt removal of 500 trees, without notice, "has cost the government all of its credibility" in this case.

It’s disappointing to see our current GOP legislators all refused to attend. The GOP members all skipped the Valley Interfaith Project’s forum last election cycle too.
When I was running and serving in the legislature, candidates on both sides of the aisle almost never missed the VIP community event.
It’s shocking that AZ Republicans refuse to engage with these caring people of faith anymore.
Thanks to Valley Interfaith Project for hosting such an important conversation about the impact of government policies on Arizona’s families. I am just sorry my #LD4 Republican opponents weren’t there to hear more about VIP’s common sense Human Development Agenda.
