Here’s the ‘History’s Youngest Heroes’ episode on Julian of Norwich which I recorded material for a year ago. And ⁦⁦@HettaHowes⁩ too! The producers have done a really good job for their Radio 4 audience. #julianofnorwich ⁦@BBCRadio4⁩ bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/m00274…

I’m in this trailer for a new BBC series! My episode on Julian of Norwich is out in Jan/Feb. It’s about people who do cool things in their youth, defined as ‘before age 35’, and why Julian’s visions qualified! Here’s a little teaser of the series… bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/p0k7tv…

This was a hard listen. The misunderstandings shown by Davies on the subject of transgender was staggering. She conflates trans-ness with homosexuality and denies the existence of both non-binary & intersex people. Gender = only gametes, apparently. Wow 😠 bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/m0021x…

Tbh I’d all but given up on X. I haven’t been active on here much because I’d found the algorithms had become skewed & I stopped seeing my usual fab medieval feed. I’m going to try again. Should I? Give me your tips for making X work for you!
