Justin, that is a classic Calvinist false dilemma, not an argument. “If God gives saving grace to all, then Hell is empty” only works if you redefine “saving grace” as irresistible, effectual grace given only to the elect. That is your system, not the Bible. Scripture says God “will have all men to be saved” (1 Tim. 2:4), Christ “gave himself a ransom for all” (1 Tim. 2:6), and the gospel is the power of God unto salvation **to every one that believeth** (Rom. 1:16). The grace is freely offered to all. Many refuse it. That is why Hell is not empty. Your version withholds the ability to believe from the non-elect by eternal decree, then still holds them responsible. That is not the free offer of the gospel of grace. That is selective enablement dressed up as “sovereign grace.” Stop equating the universal provision and invitation of the cross with universalism. The difference is faith—and the invitation is real.
