ऑल इंडिया स्टूडेंट्स एसोसिएशन (AISA) की अध्यक्ष नेहा बोरा ने दिल्ली पुलिस द्वारा जारी एक नोटिस को दिल्ली हाईकोर्ट में चुनौती दी है और इस पर तुरंत रोक लगाने के साथ-साथ इसे वापस लेने की मांग की है.
यह नोटिस भारतीय नागरिक सुरक्षा संहिता (BNSS) की धारा 126 और 130 (धारा 135(3) के साथ) के तहत 18 अक्टूबर को जारी किया गया था.
इसमें नेहा को 19 अक्टूबर को विशेष कार्यकारी मजिस्ट्रेट (SEM), नई दिल्ली जिला के सामने पेश होने का निर्देश दिया गया था. नोटिस के जरिए उनसे 'जांच के दौरान शांति बनाए रखने' के लिए 10,000 रुपये का व्यक्तिगत मुचलका (personal bond) और एक जमानतदार देने को कहा गया था.
वहीं, आईसा ने आरोप लगाया है कि 16 अक्टूबर को हिरासत से छूटने के बाद से ही दिल्ली पुलिस के जवान सादे कपड़ों में लगातार नेहा का पीछा कर रहे हैं. संगठन ने सवाल खड़ा किया है कि क्या यह पुलिस की तय प्रक्रिया का हिस्सा है या फिर छात्र नेता को डराने-धमकाने की एक कोशिश.

सुप्रीम कोर्ट के पूर्व जज जस्टिस सुधांशु धूलिया ने शरजील इमाम और उमर खालिद की जमानत को लेकर अपनी निजी राय जाहिर की है। उन्होंने कहा कि दोनों को आज नहीं, बल्कि बहुत पहले ही जमानत मिल जानी चाहिए थी।
जस्टिस सुधांशु धूलिया ने कहा, “मेरी अपनी राय है कि शरजील इमाम और उमर खालिद को जमानत मिलनी चाहिए। उन्हें आज नहीं, बल्कि बहुत पहले ही जमानत मिल जानी चाहिए थी।”

In several other cases (as mentioned in the X thread below), people submitted three-four Form-6 applications, and the EC issued three-four different EPIC IDs to the same person.

The SIR exercise in Uttar Pradesh was completed and the final electoral rolls were published in April 2026. Yet duplicate entries remain unresolved. Wasn’t eliminating duplicate entries one of the central objectives of this entire exercise?
Also, do you understand sarcasm? “Buy one, get one free” was precisely that.
In your own tweet, you acknowledge issuing four voter ID cards with different EPIC numbers to one person. How did four applications in the same person’s name pass scrutiny and result in four separate voter IDs?
Submitting four Form6 applications is wrong. Accepting and processing those duplicate requests exposes an even bigger failure in verification. What is the point of SIR if your system cannot detect repeated applications from the same person? If someone applies for fresh enrolment ten times, will @ECISVEEP issue ten different voter IDs?
Further, according to the Form 9 records uploaded on your own UP CEO website, Mr. Sundar submitted Form 6 on January 6 and again on January 14. We have the data for that booth. These are your own official records. This data was uploaded on your own UP CEO website. Also Please upload all Form9s on your website. Many are still missing. Instead of threatening us, Please put more efforts on fixing the failures instead of threatening citizens who expose them.
