We have made a fundraiser managed by Gboyega's sister Rose to help with the next steps and to upheld this beautiful man's legacy.
It will go towards the Gboyega Odubanjo Foundation.
All our love to you all.

Too sad to write words about the news now filling my Twitter feed 😞 so sharing my favourite poem by Gboyega instead.
'and the sun all the way up there' 💔
This is so profoundly sad. I knew Yega a little when he was in Norwich. He had such fire, such wit and such talent. Sending strength to his family and the many many friends who loved him so much.

We know the wonderful Gboyega has lots of friends here in Norwich, so if you know where he is or even if you just think you’ve seen him, please call 101 to contact Northamptonshire Police quoting the reference number MPD1/2619/23.

Big day tomorrow at UEA.
We need as many of you to come out for our first local strike day as we fight to avoid compulsory redundancies.
If they come for one of us, they come for all of us.

The proposed cuts at UEA do not have to happen. The Arts and Humanities faculty does not have to be targeted in this way. UEA is still a very rich university ...for some. UEA writers: please sign & share our open letter to UEA's (mis)managers: forms.gle/9fFHXRNZKkQ223uy8 Thank you!

We need your support!
SIGN AND SHARE THIS OPEN LETTER to oppose plans for massive redundancies at #UEA.

We’re so proud of @benpester’s book and so pleased he’s got some extra recognition for his brilliant work through the @EHUShortStory prize. Congratulations to all those long-listed! 🧡❤️🔥🧡

I've mentioned Little Boy (@bhousepress) before. Here linked - in its capacity to astonish - to David Keenan's Monument Maker, it is a book that has so far been read by a select and discerning few. If you fancy joining them, you can do so here:

A book so good that it feels vulgar - if not offensive - to say that you can buy it here, but you can buy it here: boilerhouse.press/product-pa…

Another week, another donation to the @ucu strike fund. I genuinely can't see the endgame for UK universities in persisting with current working conditions plus a devalued pension (based on pandemic deficit), and I'm glad my union is trying to stop them ucu.org.uk/fightingfund

Same as yesterday: solidarity and, if you're not striking, please consider donating to the UCU Fighting Fund -- they're striking so you don't lose a lot more ucu.org.uk/fightingfund
