Have it for free" It in CT, kindness is offering a trial and leaving when the dev can't afford. Niceness is offering a trial and still staying while being underpaid and broke. In both examples, it's clear who's being used. Kindness has boundaries. Niceness turns you to a slave. So yes, it's a crime on yourself to be nice... Stop it, otherwise you deserve being used.
