🚨🚨🚨BREAKING: Taylor Swift’s new Voter Registration post results in record-breaking registration numbers.
During National Voting Day, the pop superstar shared a message on Instagram urging her 272 million followers to register to vote.
The results were astounding.
After Swift’s message, 157,041 eligible voters visited the registration site, marking the largest National Voter Registration Day since 2020.
There was also a 72% increase in 18-year-old registrations compared to 2019 and a 115% increase in that age range compared to 2022.
This isn’t the first time Swift has reminded her fans of the importance of voting. A post on July also led to record breaking registrations.
THIS IS IMPORTANT! 👇
We all know that Gen Z is a powerhouse group that is already primed to vote for progressives and Democrats!
We need to make an effort to erase the barriers to registering and encourage young people to vote!
Thank you @taylorswift13 for helping to make this happen! 💙

Today we commemorate the emancipation of the last remaining enslaved people in the United States.
Juneteenth reminds us of the injustice and brutality of enslavement in our nation's history. The League is committed to building a future of progress and equity for all.
