Michael gave our family the precious gift of hope. He touched our lives in a very profound way. That gift has been kept. We will always miss such an incredible kind, compassionate, brilliant human being.

Quite so. It is troubling that this is still widely unknown. #Anxiety is a common feature affecting how #autistic people are seen and dealt with. #Gillberg's work on #ESSENCE is important.#RoughJustice18

We believe #inclusion to be a right and not a privilege - but that sometimes support is needed to realise this. This is one of the main pillars of the #Synergy approach and the @AT_Autism @LaskaridisFound relationship

Look at the Synergy program @richardmills18 and the Autism Education Trust materials. Do not see normalisation as any kind of goal, but the wellbeing of the child, work with the autistic person and not against their autism as if separate or something to be fixed.
