I am having great difficulty writing this through my tears, but, I feel, I have to inform you, with immense sadness, that my Janis passed away at 23:10 on Saturday 28thMarch, at home, as she had wanted after a month’s gruelling stay in hospital for oesophageal cancer which had spread to her spine and lungs. A five-month course of Immunotherapy was unsuccessful for her. Janis’ sister and myself held her hands as she went. wilson sharp
