The Lotus 🪷 Lounge Cube League Finals are live now! Let the sweet sounds of @Marshall_LR and @abaeckst take you through a high-stakes draft of the best format 💪

The way Riftbound utilizes power costs has changed my ranking - it really makes the resource system work well. I have their system as #2 now, with lands still ahead ⛰️
The finals of the Lotus 🪷 Lounge Cube League are tomorrow! I’ll be battling, but @Marshall_LR, @abaeckst, and @Trollascetic will be covering the action 💥
Coverage goes live at 6pm PST tomorrow on my Twitch channel - huge thanks to @UltimateGuard for sponsoring the league!
Reality Fracture is a breath of fresh air (many breaths, since I win every game with no cards in my deck). This format has been a ton of fun so far, and there are plenty of decks I need to figure out still.
Huge thanks to @UltimateGuard for sponsoring season one of the Lotus Lounge Cube League! They just announced a sick new lineup, and will be sending the top 4 teams one of these incredible Mox sidewinders plus sleeves 🔥
Stay tuned - I’ll be doing a giveaway tomorrow too!
Doing a featured draft in 2026?
Going live for charity momentarily for @TCGplayer (battling against @wizards_magic) 🔥

Heading to Seattle next week for my first in-person tournament in a while! Excited to raise money for charity and defeat @CedricAPhillips, in that order.
You’ve seen the charities that TCGplayer and @wizards_magic are supporting in the Magic: The Gathering Charity Tournament, now it’s time to meet the teams!
TL;DR I let Doomsday resolve because the average Doomsday just kills its caster, and this one did not disappoint.
Here's what @LSV had to say: "While I could have used Force of Negation to counter Doomsday, I figured that with two counters in hand I had a pretty good chance of beating whatever they were setting up, and in my experience, most people don't have the perfect Doomsday deck" 1/2
Any guesses 😈
Here's the scenario @lsv was in:
It's game one against an unknown Cube deck, you are on Bant Midrange. They went end of turn Mystical Tutor for Dark Ritual, and then untapped and cast Dark Ritual then Doomsday.
So what's the play? We'll share LSV and Reid's answers tomorrow!
We are running a 3v3 Cube Team Draft League on my discord server and would love to get more teams in - take a look at the details here!

I submitted my Hall of Fame ballot this morning, and cast my votes for:
@JavierDmagic - slam dunk, and I’d be highly disappointed in ballot that doesn’t include Javier. He’s put up tons of fantastic results across a long time period, and is simply one of the best ever.
@death_snow - Ken is another slam dunk, with a long and decorated career that spans multiple eras. He plays awesome decks, and plays them well, making him a player I hope to see on every ballot.
@Smdster - Sam is surprisingly underrated, but I firmly believe he should be in the Hall. His results are good and his play skill is even better, and as his friend and teammate I’ve played vs him or watched him play an inordinate amount. His character, skill, and results make me happy to vote for him.
@Vendilion is my last vote, and while I debated between him and JED (another great candidate), Yuta has displayed an incredible love of the game, alongside top-tier skill and very good results. He’d be a great addition to the Hall, and I’m thrilled to give him my vote.
Well-deserved, here’s to many more years of emptying the Cheons 🤝

Hit a milestone by getting to 50K subscribers on YouTube! When I got back into content creation in 2024, I had no idea what to expect but I am so thankful for the people that helped me get here. @mszcheon @Marshall_LR @lsv @GabySpartz

Well said, I think @Smdster is a great vote for hall of fame (and I shall in fact be casting mine for him)
I don't get a vote for #mtghof under the new system, but if I were, I would easily include Sam Pardee.
Im sharing this because Im not sure all eligible voters are aware how proficient Sam is at deckbuilding/deck selection and I want spread awareness.
Every event Sam plays, I always try to find out what he played because I believe hes one of the best to ever do it, and it sets the bar on where I should start if im playing an event in a similar metagame.
I feel like he's sometimes under the radar in that regard because it's not always flashy, but it's always so clean. He's so good at leveling between a tempting brew and just playing the best version of the best deck.
It takes a lot of discipline when you've had success brewing to not rabbit hole yourself.
Of course, he's also an incredible technical player, great person and now has the results to get the votes. No brainer 🙌
