5 in 6 women who are raped don’t report and it's the same for 4 in 5 men. ONS found the following figures for non-reporting. 40%: was due to embarrassment. 38%: didn’t think the police could help. 34%: thought it would be humiliating. End the stigma attached to victims of rape.

WE WON! The Crisis Worker team have won Team of the Year for LPFT. They fully deserve this as they work so hard to look after our clients in their time of need. The other finalists are also incredible and last night made us realise what an incredible workforce there is at LPFT.

We are very aware of how concerning the #barristerstrike is for victims awaiting court cases/trials. We are watching this situation very closely so we can hopefully give our clients the most up to date information and reassurance. Do speak with your ISVA if you are worried. 💚

An important part of our role is to advocate for our clients. In the last month we have agreed to start having regular meetings with the police and court services. We think multi-agency working is paramount in supporting clients and getting their voice heard.
