Matt Morgan:
“During the time I worked with him [Russell Brand], I was never aware of any allegations of serious sexual misconduct against him.”

Do not look for healing from those who abused you.
Do not look for validation from those who gaslit you.
Do not look for support from those who ignored you.
Do not look for the truth in those who manipulated you.
Do not look for comfort in those who enjoyed harming you.
Not just today. Everyday!

End victim blaming.
#ItsNotOk to victim blame. Rape is never the fault of the victim.

5 in 6 women who are raped don’t report and it's the same for 4 in 5 men. ONS found the following figures for non-reporting.
40%: was due to embarrassment.
38%: didn’t think the police could help.
34%: thought it would be humiliating.
End the stigma attached to victims of rape.
This lady will be sorely missed, by the whole team, and by her clients. Her leadership and dedication is second to none, and her new team in @LPFTNHS don’t know how lucky they are!

WE WON! The Crisis Worker team have won Team of the Year for LPFT. They fully deserve this as they work so hard to look after our clients in their time of need. The other finalists are also incredible and last night made us realise what an incredible workforce there is at LPFT.

Myth – It isn’t rape if they didn’t shout stop.
Truth – When someone is experiencing fear they often find they can not speak/shout. This is a normal response as it is the body’s way to keep us safe.

We are very aware of how concerning the #barristerstrike is for victims awaiting court cases/trials. We are watching this situation very closely so we can hopefully give our clients the most up to date information and reassurance. Do speak with your ISVA if you are worried. 💚
