Twitter, I’m mad today. Schools who should know better (we know who you are) calling #afrohair #unprofessional. Here’s to all the black kids, spending HOURS putting in the sleeping braids before doing homework (committee papers for me). See how we go about our business like this!

Enhanced rail infrastructure is important for the prosperity of Northern cities and unlocking their full potential. The Northern Powerhouse deserves better than another broken Tory pledge.
Today I visited Bradford with @RachelReevesMP on the day Boris Johnson announced he's scrapping a crucial part of HS2 and Northern Powerhouse Rail.
The Prime Minister has betrayed Yorkshire and the North.

UK secretly dropped climate promise for trade deal with Australia, leaked emails show independent.co.uk/climate-ch… hugely disappointing and a sign the current government is on a race to the bottom putting potential profits ahead of principle and the environment 🌲.

It will be a sad day when Dave and Carol leave @StJohnsE15. I've known them virtually my entire life and they have invigorated the Stratford community with their compassion and energy. It's an end of an era but both leave the church on a good footing. newhamrecorder.co.uk/news/st…
