Three years have passed since Hamas carried out a brutal terrorist attack against Israel on 7 October 2023.
Today, our thoughts are with the victims, their families and the people of Israel. We unequivocally condemn terrorism in all its forms.
Estonia reaffirms its commitment to justice, accountability and lasting peace in the Middle East. We will continue working with our partners to promote stability, dialogue and respect for international law, including the protection of civilians, and call for unhindered access to humanitarian assistance in Gaza.
Estonia continues to support a negotiated two-state solution, with Israel and Palestine living side by side in peace and security.
Great to meet delegation of Egyptian parliamentarians to deepen our dialogue on issues ranging from developments in the Middle East and Russia’s agression against Ukraine to opportunities in bilateral economic cooperation. Special thanks to our Honorary Consul Motaz Raslani!

What we saw in Leipzig is part of Russia’s broader effort to paralyse Europe with fear and undermine our support for Ukraine. It also shows that the threat from Russia reaches far beyond its borders.
Our focus must remain clear: continue supporting Ukraine and keep raising the cost of Russia’s aggression.

Chairmen of Foreign Affairs Committees of 20 European countries emphasise in their Joint Statement today that just and lasting peace cannot be achieved by yielding to the aggressor; instead, it must be grounded in international law and respect Ukraine’s territorial integrity, independence, and sovereignty.🇪🇪🇧🇪🇩🇰🇫🇮🇫🇷🇳🇴🇪🇸🇵🇱🇮🇸🇱🇹🇺🇦🇱🇻🇸🇪🇪🇺🇬🇧🇨🇿🇮🇹🇮🇪🇳🇱🇱🇺🇵🇹

Ukrainian children are being forced into a system that erases identity and glorifies violence.
Tonight we screened After the Rain: Putin's Stolen Children Come Home - a powerful film on resilience. Thanks to Sarah McCarthy, @UA_EUMission, @EEinEU for spotlighting this violation.

Is Wagner marching on Moscow again, or starting with St. Petersburg this time? Hard to tell.
From our side it looks like they’ve already annexed the Russian border guards.
Who knows… @mfa_russia?

Today @MFAestonia summoned Russia’s chargé d’affaires over another violation of Estonia’s airspace, when three Russian MiG-31s entered our airspace over the Gulf of Finland for 12 minutes.
This is an unprecedented and brazen intrusion — clear proof of Russia’s growing aggression.
Such actions cannot be tolerated and must be met with swift political and economic pressure.

Estonia stands firmly with Ukraine 🇺🇦, its sovereignty and territorial integrity.
If borders can be changed by force, none are safe.
If nations can be forced to live under a bigger neighbour’s dictate, none are free.
Sovereignty and territorial integrity are the cornerstones of global stability. We will not reward aggression — not in Ukraine, not anywhere.
Ukraine can count on our unwavering support in achieving a just and lasting peace.
#StandWithUkraine
For the fourth year now, Ukraine has withstood Russia’s full-scale war on land, at sea and in the air.
We owe our independence to the courage of our defenders and resilience of our people.
Ukrainians deserve a just peace based on the international law and respect for our territorial integrity and borders defined by our Constitution.
Russia must not be rewarded for starting this war.
Despite tireless efforts by the United States and Ukraine’s continued willingness to seek a fair peace, Russia continues its terror against civilians, ignores deadlines, and shows no genuine interest in ending the war.
Ukraine remains open to meaningful dialogue and real solutions negotiated together with Ukraine, respecting the will of our people.
We need a lasting peace that won’t be destroyed by Moscow’s next move. Ukraine stands ready to work with the United States and all our international partners to achieve together a just and lasting peace.

The only obstacle to peace is Putin’s decision to continue his war of aggression.
If Russia stops fighting, there will be no war.
If Ukraine stops fighting, there will be no Ukraine.
Estonia’s 🇪🇪support to Ukraine 🇺🇦 remains unwavering. Time for Europe to step up.

Russia's provocative behaviour regarding the EU borders with #Estonia, #Finland and #Lithuania is completely unacceptable. We commend the calm and composed responses of these countries. Their borders are also our borders: we stand in full solidarity with our allies.

We're one step closer to setting a historic precedent in Europe. Our parliament passed the first law in Europe to allow the use of Russia’s frozen assets to compensate for war damages.
Hope the president will soon announce it as a law.
Celebrating the big bang EU enlargement of 2004 that has been a great success. We didn’t return to Europe but Europe returned to us. Proud to be a member the our community of values. – at The Hague, The Netherlands
