Meet the new science centre:
Lots and lots of walking, with a few exhibits in-between on the journey.
No public transit to the front door either.

Thank you, Blue Jays. 🇨🇦⚾
You gave us a season we’ll never forget.
A postseason run that united a country, lifted a nation, and reminded us what it means to play for something bigger than ourselves.
Somewhere today, a young Canadian is swinging a bat and throwing a ball.
You’ve inspired the next generation to dream, to believe, and to fall in love with the game.
We’re proud to call you Canada’s team. We’re grateful.
And we can’t wait to see what comes next.

Bad for #Ontario kids.
Bad for #Toronto traffic.
Bad for Hardworking Taxpayers.

Fast forward to 2024, and they had a new CEO and board in place to close it.

There is one brutal through-line uniting the crises @RevueCinema, Hot Docs, Ontario Place, Ontario Science Centre, and Toronto's sponsor-wracked arts festivals: an active distaste and fundamental ignorance of what the arts can do. My @globeandmail column: theglobeandmail.com/arts/fil…
