ALT Final thoughts Is this the hill we want to DYE on? (Pardon the pun) Personally, I think this is a red herring in the greater scheme of things that have a bigger and more significant impact on our well-being. It feels very much perhaps a low hanging fruit, and there is of course no harm in easily replacing this dye with non-synthetic colourings like paprika or beetroot. My concern here is that we are wasting energy on things that ultimately will have no/very little effect on our overall health. Resources are finite - and we should be mindful with how we use these. My opinion? Focus on the things that truly matter: limit processed food and added sugars, eat a balanced wholesome plant-forward diet with fruits, vegetables. Get exercise and move your body. And limit things from your diet that we know are carcinogens even at lower amounts, such as alcohol.
