Hi just a reminder that a standard adult BVM holds around 1500 mL of air. The average adult requires no more than 500 mL per breath. This means you never really need to squeeze more than 1/3 of the bag volume. I cannot stress this enough. Getting this right literally saves lives.

Bronchiolitis, everywhere👶 @STRS_Evelina. Expect them to be difficult to ventilate, to require suctioning, bagging, physio and get breath stacking. Don't rely on gases to reflect severity of illness and don't give them nebulized bronchodilators.@LGTResus
