We are proud to have worked on this briefing with the LGBTQ+ affiliates of other political parties. The powers we need to improve LGBTQ+ healthcare are devolved, and the responsibility to act rests with the Scottish Government.
Problems such as limited availability for HIV/AIDS medications, exceedingly long Gender Identity Clinic waiting lists, and discrimination in accessing our NHS must be taken seriously by the Scottish Government.
LGBTQ+ people have an ally in the new Cabinet Secretary for Health and Social Care, but @HumzaYousaf has his work cut out for him. We've outlined some of the health problems LGBTQ+ people face in this briefing.
