We are excited to announce the ratification of the first Collective Bargaining Agreement for The Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights and The Leadership Conference Education Fund as of August 27, 2024!
This month, LCWU celebrates its two year anniversary. For two years, we have fought for a contract that honors our workers, progressive civil rights values, and our organization’s legacy.
The fight is not over yet. We look forward to getting a contract finalized this year.

We, the workers at @LawyersComm, are united for a fair collective bargaining agreement. But after three years of bargaining, we are still struggling to reach a fair deal on key issues like salary. We are #unitedforafaircontract. @LawyersComm and @DamonTHewitt, where are you? 1/2

Our 24-hour strike has begun.
For the first time in 50 years, @washingtonpost workers are walking off the job because our company is refusing to bargain in good faith and breaking the law.

Happy Thanksgiving! We are thankful for so many things, but especially for our union members, who work every day to secure civil rights AND to ensure that we have fair and equitable working conditions
Special shoutout to our bargaining committee, who have been working hard for over a year to reach a contract with management.

Unions help create a more stable and prosperous economy for EVERYONE when they advocate for higher wages and better working conditions. Research shows that unions do more than support the middle class—they're a driving force behind economic growth and resilience.

The Law360 union urges @Law360 management to respond to the 10 outstanding proposals on the bargaining table because nearly a year into bargaining, we should not be waiting on important proposals including sick leave, parental leave, 401(k) and PTO.
