Miserabili ignoranti
—-
L’Ucraina ci sta affamando!
L’Ucraina non è in Europa!
Se ci tieni tanto all’Ucraina, vai a combattere al fronte!
—-

Ora aggiungiamo qualche elemento.
E preoccupante.

J'aimerais poser cinq questions :

У WSJ Opinion вийшла редакційна стаття «Zelensky Is Open to a Starlink Deal».

Something to be aware of when encountering viral French riot videos online. Especially when loaded with right wing narratives and talking points, as they are on X. Make note of the accounts pushing this campaign for future review.
Russian intelligence services have a documented history of exploiting civil unrest to destabilize governments, deepen political divisions and undermine public confidence in democratic institutions.
Warnings of possible Russian hybrid attacks came days and weeks ahead of protests in France. Large demonstrations provide opportunities for sabotage, provocations and other forms of interference to take place amid existing unrest, making it harder for authorities to distinguish politically motivated violence from coordinated foreign operations.
Riots and violent confrontations can be exploited to increase tensions between demonstrators and police. A single violent incident can trigger a wider confrontation, provoke a heavy police response and undermine public support for otherwise peaceful demonstrations. Russian operatives do not need to control a protest movement to exploit it.
Kremlin-linked influence networks can then circulate selective footage, misleading claims and fabricated accounts of the violence. The same incident can be presented to different audiences in contradictory ways: protesters are portrayed as violent extremists, while police and government officials are accused of authoritarian repression. Both narratives encourage hostility and distrust.
This is where the GRU and Russia's wider influence apparatus become relevant. Russian military intelligence has been implicated in sabotage and other covert operations across Europe, while Kremlin-linked online networks have conducted coordinated campaigns to manipulate political debate. Physical disruption and online amplification can reinforce each other, although evidence is needed to establish whether they are coordinated in any particular incident.
The timing of warnings before major demonstrations matters because authorities must prepare for the possibility of deliberate interference without treating legitimate protesters as suspects. Provocateurs can take advantage of crowded streets, existing tensions and the presence of large numbers of police officers. Any resulting violence may initially be attributed to protesters, regardless of who was responsible.
Prolonged unrest also strains policing resources, consumes government attention and diverts political debate from other issues, including France's military and diplomatic support for Ukraine.
Images of burning vehicles, street clashes and damaged infrastructure can be circulated internationally to portray France and its European allies as unstable. These images are particularly useful to Russian propaganda when presented without context or when isolated incidents are made to appear representative of an entire protest movement.
Russia does not need to organise demonstrations to benefit from them. It can exploit legitimate grievances, amplify isolated violence and encourage opposing groups to blame one another.
The protests in France may have entirely legitimate causes. That does not prevent Russian intelligence services from attempting to exploit them. But warnings of possible hybrid attacks are not, by themselves, evidence that Russian operatives have infiltrated the demonstrations or caused specific incidents.

---
The decision to limit the use of Starlink/Starshield will destroy the U.S. military industry.
Who will continue to buy modern weaponry from the U.S., knowing that it could be deactivated at any moment?
After all, if they can do it with Starlink, they can do it with combat aircraft, missile systems, radar, and anything else that relies on network connectivity.
Trump’s reckless choices—made to divert attention from his failed war in Iran—will cost America billions of dollars a year.
This is a catastrophic, entirely avoidable strategic error, committed solely to indulge the fleeting whims of a president whose poll numbers are in freefall and who is desperately in need of salvaging his image following an endless series of poor decisions.
Europe should take note and act accordingly.
👇👇👇
It is a basic principle of American democracy that the government can’t selectively target individuals simply because of their political beliefs or what they say. But that’s exactly what the Trump Administration is doing to Congresswoman Ilhan Omar of Minnesota.
To understand why this is so appalling, it’s important to know the facts. Congresswoman Omar came to this country with her father when she was 12 years old. Five years later, her father became a naturalized citizen. If Ilhan had been 18 at the time, she would have had to apply for citizenship separately. But because she was 17, she became a naturalized citizen automatically.
Congresswoman Omar went on to graduate from college, work as a community organizer, become the first Somali-American legislator elected to public office in the U.S., and win a seat in Congress. There, she has been one of the Trump Administration’s fiercest critics, which has led the president to repeatedly single her out as someone who he believes does not belong in this country.
Now the Administration is actively trying to deport Congresswoman Omar, seemingly based solely on the unsubstantiated theory that she was actually 18 when her father was naturalized, and therefore is not a citizen. Federal agents have raided her home, confiscated personal records, and seized her phone — all to try and uncover a nonexistent smoking gun from 20 years ago that will somehow make their case.
Think about that. The full weight of the federal government is being brought down on a law-abiding elected official because she has dared to criticize the president. And it’s not the first time this has happened. Under President Trump, the Justice Department has repeatedly gone after those he considers his political enemies — from the Attorney General of New York, to the former head of the FBI, to members of the Federal Reserve.
In those cases, the prosecutions either stalled or were dismissed for having no basis in law, and the same is likely to happen in this case. But not before Congresswoman Omar’s life has been turned upside down, her legal bills have piled up, and she’s been forced to spend time fighting unsubstantiated charges instead of serving the people of Minnesota.
The fact that any president, or any administration, is willing to engage in such transparent efforts to intimidate someone should outrage all Americans, regardless of how they feel about Congresswoman Omar’s political views. Because if this becomes the new normal, there’s no reason to believe it will stop with her — or that future presidents, in either party, won’t do the same.

A cosa servono manipolazioni, menzogne e cherry picking?

Magyar says:
May our freedom endure.
I should have kept my mouth shut, but it eats at me and pisses me off. Because gratitude and paying back what you owe are not the same as submission. The perspective of a soldier, not a politician. What's this about?
When a partner demonstrates its leverage by literally fine-tuning things through manual control, as if to say, “From now on, we control, if not your war itself, then how deep your war can go,” because you “can't read the room” — the damage goes far beyond the threat itself. It comes from the betrayal of the very framework within which you operate. A clear framework where black is unmistakably black, and white is white.
Have I strung the words together vaguely enough to preserve the meaning?
We have nowhere to retreat. This is no corner — this is our home. Read the maps.
One bunker-dwelling old geezer used to ramble about how he'd learned that lesson (the one about a cornered rat) in a St. Petersburg stairwell at 12 Baskov Lane. He either lied, or his muscle memory has rusted away.
And “Sophie's Choice” won't solve the problem, while an ellipsis merely legitimizes leaving things unfinished.
So may our freedom endure, Ukrainians.
We will stand
Moscow will fall

The trend this year continues – since the start of fall, our warriors have liberated more territory than the Russians have managed to capture. The same was true at other points this year. We continue to press the Russians at the front.
Dobropillia, Kostiantynivka, Oleksiievo-Druzhkivka, Orikhiv, Novopavlivka, Novoandriivka, and Velykomykhailivka are all under Ukrainian control. We are also defending the areas near Kramatorsk and destroying Russian forces 20 kilometers from Zaporizhzhia, not 5, as someone over there in Russia is snowing Putin.
Our front is strong, and I thank every warrior and every one of our units that is carrying out its tasks in full.

🇺🇦 Zelenskyy delivers a blunt message to the United States:
“Just give us Starlink back. If you refuse, Ukraine will survive. We will continue defending ourselves with or without it.
But why would you restrict a country fighting for its survival? Why make it harder for us to defend our people?
I simply cannot understand the reasoning behind this decision. It is a mistake.”
Ukraine isn’t asking America to fight its war. It’s asking America not to stand in the way of its defense.
👇👇👇Hybrid war is happening in all Europe. Right now. Elections will take place in my country 🇮🇹 and France next year. The danger is so real👇👇👇
Yes, our president is a russian puppet who is trying to dismantle NATO.
We know.
You know why Trump is president? Because russians absolutely flooded us with disinformation until the average American voted against his own interests. The FSB weaponized our stupid people against us.
It happened to us, just like it happened to Hungary, the UK during Brexit, and soon France. The russians can do this to your country, too. They can exploit this vulnerability anywhere there’s a democracy and a surplus of morons (hint: you probably live in such a place).
So, my question is, why demonize all Americans, even those who support Ukraine, because of what Trump is doing? Knowing that Putin and Trump are trying to divide NATO, why are certain NAFO fellas helping drive that wedge between America and Europe? Why are you doing Putin’s work?
Anti-MAGA Americans are fighting creeping autocracy: with the courts, with protests (that are being censored on social media, BTW), and politically. We’re doing way more than you realize, and we’re putting ourselves in danger to do it. We are also voting on November 3. We could use a little encouragement instead of blame.
Thanks.

Since the American President announced the energy ceasefire a week ago, Russia has deliberately attacked Ukraine’s energy and oil and gas sectors 76 times. Last night alone, there were strikes on substations in the Vinnytsia, Zhytomyr, Khmelnytskyi, and Odesa regions. Tens of thousands of families remain without power. Energy workers and repair crews are working virtually around the clock to restore electricity supply. Overnight, the Russians also struck residential buildings in our regions. As of now, 12 people have been reported injured, including two children. Two people have been killed. My condolences to their families and loved ones. This morning, there was a strike on an agricultural enterprise in Volyn. All necessary services are working at the site.
In total, over this past week, the Russians have attacked Ukraine with almost 2,700 attack drones, 1,700 aerial bombs, and 66 missiles, most of them ballistic. The main targets of these strikes are energy facilities – the Russians are trying to cause a blackout. And America should see that Russia is not taking any reciprocal steps in response to sanctions relief or agreements. On the contrary, they take every signal of an opportunity to make money as proof that their bet on war is paying off and they can keep fighting. It is because of this position of Russia’s that the war continues, not because Ukraine is rightfully defending itself. It is Russia that must face pressure for peace to have a chance. Thank you to everyone who understands this and helps.
