Dr Lyndsay Barnbrook

Fantastic evening watching the legend that is @timminchin - aside from the beautiful tunes, the biggest takeaway was a timely and important reminder to always look for the good in everyone and everything. #NotPerfect but will do my best.

A big thank you to the inimitable @IngaDR who is accompanying our Foundation exams today at @TrinityLabanMT - such a calm and positive influence in addition to being such an incredible musician.

A really exciting first week of auditions at @TrinityLabanMT

Loved @FHTEMusical - very proud of @TrinityLabanMT grad @casshackforth too.

Huge thanks and a fond farewell to @ahmetculture who leaves us at @TrinityLabanMT after 6.5 years

Incredibly disappointed with the service from @RyanAir - app wouldn’t let me check in final outbound flight and have been charged £55 at the airport to do it. Fine example of ‘computer says no’

Credit to the amazing cast of 101 Dalmatians @OpenAirTheatre - such an energetic performance in very difficult conditions - a brilliant production.

I know I’m not entirely the intended target market, but the Sing 2 soundtrack is cracking.

Dear retailers, please know that you do not have to put salted caramel in all dessert offerings. Yours, disgruntled of Essex.

Thoroughly enjoyed watching @teddyhinde & @JordanBroatch doing @TrinityLabanMT proud in @WhistleLDN

And all of the Seussical music is taught 😅 - looking forward to seeing it all come together over the next week and a half with the @TrinityLabanMT 2nd years, @ahmettheatre, Jody, Amy and Mark

A great final day of the @TrinityLabanMT audition period. I never fail to feel privileged getting to experience so much talent, creativity and bravery - especially as I get to do so alongside lovely people (@vstretton, @IngaDR, @natalie_harman, @RhonaMcGregor, and the Evans duo!)

Really enjoyed the first week of @TrinityLabanMT auditions - a lot of talented and committed applicants who were lots of fun to work with.

Enjoyed my first classes with the BATU students @PPAcademyUK this week. What a lovely group of humans.

Daughter’s school newsletter included the following quote: “You don’t inspire people by being perfect. You inspire them by how you deal with your imperfections”. I rather like that.

I dim the lights, and think about you. Goodnight Sondheim. Thank you for it all.

I know that there are very difficult world issues at the moment which are, of course, very worthy of debate. However my current conundrum is why the dance to Saturday Night by Whigfield doesn’t fit with the phrase structure of the music. Why was this allowed to happen?
