This is an awesome story made possible by @JadeFavre ‘s relentless efforts to find homes for retired horses. Of interest to LA fans- Drain the Shot’s dam is @louisianabred Moment to Dream by @StarGuitarLA ! Great job by Jade! 👏👏

Jake Delhomme could teach @LSUfootball a better way to manage their $50 million NIL 🏈 budget. In 2020 he paid $15k for Touchuponastar who has current earnings >$2 million! He will be the top LA athlete running tonight @deltaracing in the $100k @louisianabred Gold Cup Stakes. He has won 9 straight stakes in LA including a pair of G2 New Orleans Classics (beat BCC winner Sierra Leone) & set NTR in ‘25 Gold Cup! Can’t wait to watch the legend run & hear @horsemandon

Not sure how much “Mo” Tom Benson could do for LA sports fans but what a legacy he left with the Saints & @gmbracing ‘s Mo Tom/others purchased with Gayle Benson. Mo Tom was purchased in 2014 upon their return to racing & was their 1st winner as a juvenile at Ellis (see picture). He went on to win G3 Lecomte at FG for @TomAmossRacing & run in KY Derby. In Saturday’s @louisianabred Cup Races he had 2 winners (Mo For Us 7️⃣6️⃣ & Mangum with days top Beyer of 9️⃣3️⃣). ⭐️ 🎸 also had 2 winners (Star of Bethlehem 7️⃣2️⃣ & Star Rock Star 8️⃣2️⃣). Cajun Caviar had a 7️⃣0️⃣ for No Parole’s first SW progeny & Highly Wicked had 8️⃣2️⃣ for her 5th straight stakes win.

Star Rock Star was claimed by @SWRacingStables in February at FG & moved to the turf where he has finished in top 2 spots 5 of 7 times including a win in the @louisianabred LA Cup Turf Classic. It was Harry Hernandez’s 4th stakes win of the day & 2nd on a son of @StarGuitarLA ! They seem to be a 🔒!

Highly Wicked changes her running style to close for the win in @louisianabred LA Cup Turf Distaff but the outcome is same as usual with her 5th straight stakes win and 14th career win in 16 starts on turf! @MPedrozaJr gets the win for the 1st class team of Sam David and owner/breeder @KJHernandezNO . It was a treat for LAD fans who getting to see her LAD debut! She is now a stakes winner on all 3 LA turf courses!

Star of Bethlehem who was 2nd in the D.S. Shine Stakes to Golfito turns the table in the @louisianabred LA Cup Juvenile Stakes with a decisive win! EVD champion jockey Harry Hernandez won the Super Derby last week on Quarry & gets his 2nd win of the day of this good looking son of @StarGuitarLA

No Parole won the G1 Woody Stephens for @TomAmossRacing & @maggimoss & now he has a stakes winner with Cajun Caviar in the @louisianabred LA Cup Juvenile Filly Stakes for Allen Landry & owner/breeder Ellen Epstein!

Today is a big day for @louisianabred . $2 million Our Moneyman goes for a G1 win in the Pennsylvania Derby with Creole Chrome in the $300k Harrods’s Creek Stakes at CD. Both got their start in LA Bred Stakes races like the 6 Cup Stakes today at LAD. The pair of LA Cup Juvenile Stakes both feature the top 2 runners from the D.S. Shine Stakes at EVD. A total of 24 horses are entered in the 2 LA Cup turf stakes including Highly Wicked going for her 5th straight stakes win (winner of 13/15 on turf)!

Well done by the LA team of @DallasStewart3 & @b_hernandezjr to get top freshmen sire Golden Pal’s 1st stakes win!

Excited to see this group of horses nominated for the Super Derby on 9/12/26 @LouisianaDowns . 👏

Congratulations to @jose93_ortiz & S. Asmussen’s Stradale’s win in G3 Mahony Stakes who just edged @kinnonlarose ‘s hard closing @deltaracing Jean Lafitte Stakes winner Oscar Hope.
