The Louisiana Broadcasters Association is upholding the integrity of our local news and media, which is invaluable to all Louisiana residents. We discussed the Local Radio Freedom Act of 2023, which I co-sponsored, that prohibits Congress from imposing any new tax or royalty charges relating to public radio and broadcasting.
All this attention is going to make us blush. Thank you again to @radioworld_news for highlighting our little jaunt into high school radio. 🤘

KNOE-TV went on-air on September 27, 1953, with a 774-foot tower. James A. Noe, Sr., former governor of Louisiana, owned the station and desired to serve the community.
The station was passed to Noe’s son, James “Jimmie” Noe, Jr., following Noe, Sr.’s death in 1976. The Noes owned KNOE-TV until 2007 when it was sold to Dallas-based Hoak Media.
In November 2013, @GrayTelevision announced it was purchasing Hoak Media. Since then, Gray has continued the station’s legacy of serving the people of ArkLaMiss.
In the seven decades @KNOE8 has spent serving the ArkLaMiss, the station has undergone many changes, but one thing has remained the same - our commitment to you.
