To mark #childrensmentalhealthweek I met some of the team @MWIMPACT - who are working to normalise these conversations particularly among teenage boys.

This was my seat yesterday - listening to graduates doing a fantastic job delivering their knife crime campaigns for Birmingham.
All wanted more positivity, genuine support for young people & less poison on socials

I went along to see one of the music sessions he runs, in Dudley, as part of the Community Skills and Knowledge Network (CSKN) and asked him what his job is really like #MyTomorrow
Great to meet @delvic99 yesterday & the Strike 9 team who we're collaborating with as part of the #MyTomorrow campaign.
Meeting people who are so passionate about improving the lives of young people who are struggling - really is my favourite part of this job : )

This was a great one to go and see for myself. It might divide opinion but using relatable mentors with similar lived experiences is effective. The music project gets £12K funding from the VRP for 3 weeks and it's delivered by dedicated youth workers at CSKN! #MyTomorrow #Dudley
