Know your numbers! Lp(a) is considered high >50 mg/dL or 125 nmol/L. Do not mix up the units! High Lp(a) is an independent risk factor for CVD. The higher the concentration, the higher the risk. Watch: bit.ly/Lpa-explained

In the spring of 2011, I was in the audience in Brussels at the first Personalized Medicine Conference organized by the @EU_Commission.
Fast forward 12 years and two more seasons, today I had the privilege of attending the official launch of the European Partnership for Personalized Medicine (EP-PerMed), the flagship program set to drive research, innovation, and the implementation of personalized medicine for the next 7 years. 🚀
Great to see as well recognised the contribution of Centre for Innovation in Medicine @InoMedRo in the development and adoption of the first-in-the-word law on the right of the citizens and patients to personalized medicine, mentioned today as a good practice example.
All in the context of the high-level Personalized Medicine Conference of the Spanish Presidency of the Council of the European Union, organised in Valencia under the title “The evolution of the healthcare to improve people’s lives”.
