Obviously the drunk council candidate is the highlight here, but the contrast of the deeply earnest moderator is what really pushes this over the top

Was delighted to chat with @libdenk and @KromanDavid for @KUOW’s Soundside! We discussed my reporting on WA becoming the first state to cover an AI companion device for seniors with Medicaid. Give the episode a listen!

This is the same answer! It’s still a hedge! Just say “as long as we’re owners we won’t move the team” and the city won’t spiral!
To all @Seahawks fans and @12s, we have no plans to move the team, have never discussed it, haven’t even thought about it. End of story. I've said repeatedly we have no plans to change anything. Feel sad for the reporters looking for views and clicks who distort my answer out of context and sent an entire city into a spiral for no reason.

Leavenworth's decision to go all in on the Bavarian thing is so funny because it's arguably already in one of the most beautiful places in the country
Mayor Katie Wilson: "I have made the difficult decision to transmit a new budget without new revenue." Her proposal will include a cut of 128 FTEs (many vacant) and $50 million in annual reductions.
Does Harborview have a deal with the Seahawks or something? If you walked in with a hurt hip you’d definitely still be in the waiting room

I'm reminiscing today about some Ballmer articles that I wrote 12 years ago.

My final Seattle Times story ran today and is about how rich neighborhoods’ push for underground power cables in the 1960s/70s has become a $3 billion problem for all of us today.
