#Pftour24 measures Minnesota #corn yield at 164.9 bu/acre, the tour's lowest since 2012 and down 9% from 2023. USDA has MN corn yield unch YOY. Pod counts for #soybeans were near the 3yr avg, and USDA sees MN soy yield slightly above the 3yr avg.

🇺🇸U.S. #corn was 27% planted as of Sunday, exactly as the trade expected and above the recent average. Spring #wheat planting pace is the fastest since 2021, and progress last week was much quicker than analysts thought. Winter wheat conditions down 1 pt as predicted.

We love the @JohnDeere Ops Center. But we also have a wish list we’d like to see added or improved. (cc: @kyleplattner) The ability to set the color of a Hybrid for the whole year across different fields. So if you click on a field immediately you know what hybrid is planted

Also something that goes along with this is the ability to set the default map view for a layer. (Example: For Seeding corn we want the default view to be the Variety, not the applied rate.)

Pro Farmer pegs U.S. #corn yield at 168.1 bu/acre and #soybeans at 51.7 bu/acre. USDA was 175.4 and 51.9 earlier this month. Pro Farmer puts the corn crop at 13.759 bln bu and soy at 4.535 bln bu.

Iowa #corn yield comes in at 183.81 bu/acre, down 3.6% from last year's tour but even with the 3yr avg. Pod counts for #soybeans are also down 3.6% on the year but a little better than the recent avg. #pftour22

Illinois #corn yields from #pftour22 average 190.71 bu/acre, down 3% from last year's tour. Pod counts on #soybeans were 2% lower. Both corn and soy numbers were the tour's 3rd highest in the last 6 years ('17-'22).
