Crook and Weardale Ramblers 50th anniversary walk from Grasmere to Patterdale. Weather didn't play nicely. Mixed and matched low and high level walks
Almost ready for the 2023 TGO challenge - 18th crossing, should I manage to cross... - pack packed (heavy) pics from last year featuring JJ's tent - mine broke at Dornie in a bit of a wind... 3 days of wet then it was OK...

A few from Saturday’s walk around the Coledale Horseshoe from Braithwaite. 11 miles, 8 Wainwrights - a fabulous day! 😊

Last time I looked at the tellybox there was a bloke being transported around Thatlondon in what appeared to be a cake. Last time I have G&T's in the afternoon.....
Crook and Weardale Ramblers at the Langdale Pikes. Lovely weather by the way - normally, when I go to Langdale it chucks it down....
Then there was a short day over High Street and Gray Crag as the rain crept in. LTD suggested a spot behind a drumlin out of the wind. It was OK. Lorra slugs... good radio reception and a little bit of rough whisky as the rain came down. Next morning was slug city.
Me and LTD camped at Angle Tarn. Some prune had left a broken tent there. Dhuhhh... Lovely spot, though which is why its a popular place for camping.
Pilgrims route to Lindisfarne (actually, from cos the water was too deep at first) LTD mainly walked to heel across the vast sands. Daft dog. He did do a few zoomies at first then he just couldn't be arsed....
Poptabulous week end/midweek in Hayfield with Chrissie, Geoff, Islay, Pebbles and LTD - lovely walks, cracking scoff by Geoff and toleration of LTD'S tendancy towards utter areseholeness with other dogs and my smelly socks. All good clean fun, except for the M1 drivey bits.
21 miles above Weardale on a wet and windy day. Left LTD at home due to the forecast. We (me, Diane, Davi and Li Yang) got wet. Refreshing, though....
Y'know it's not easy walking around Morrisons with your buttocks clenched. A dose of immodium seems to have fixed it now. Wonderful stuff, immodium...
Red faced, fat, bald English Gammons inevitably excited by a muslim SNP first minister (ticks a lot of exciting boxes) now repeating kremlin bots. I don't blame them just because they are as thick as pig shit cos nobody can help being stupid.
