PLAYERS: When you become a "whatever the team needs" type player then you become a great teammate and your team's culture is strengthened. Great teams have great teammates.

"Today we have a chance to pause" - Father Brad
I now take pause to be thankful for all our Miller community members. So proud of how we celebrated our faith, raised awareness for Terry Fox/Cancer and rose to the occasion to take care of each other in a time of uncertainty. 💙♥️
Big day for @MillerCHS…Opening Mass & @TerryFoxCanada Walk! Thank you Father Brad, Father Warren, & Father Carlos for celebrating mass with our full school population to honour our patron saint, St. Padre Pio! Well done, Marauders!
What a crew to go to work with everyday! Looking forward to a great year at Miller with amazing staff and students!

Maybe the command center shouldn't make ludicrous calls to continue games.

SRO's do a lot of really great and important work in schools. They are absolutely worth what they make. We can make an argument out our worth as educators without devaluing the work of others - both in and out of schools.
Amazing parent presentation tonight by the @MillerCHS student services team to inform our community of the course selection process!
Merci à @EtienneFletcher pour son excellente performance et son excellent message à notre élèves @millerfrimm.
First day of final exams for semester one today at @MillerCHS. Loving the power of positive thinking Mr. Fettes has rolling in his classroom for students this morning!
Thanks to the @MillerCHS SRC & students for the amazing assemblies to send us off for Christmas 🎄🎁 ✝️ break!

Pat Summit said, "Teamwork is really a form of trust. It’s what happens when you surrender the mistaken idea that you can go it alone and realize that you won’t achieve your individual goals without the support of your colleagues."
Trust is earned, not given.
Every team needs to trust each other.
Transparency builds trust.
Communication builds trust.
Great teams create a culture of trust, respect, and collaboration.
6 Ways to Build Trust in your Team:
1. Build relationships: People want to know that you care about them, that you trust them, and that they can trust you. That happens when you invest time with each other and build bonds.
2. Lead by example: When you lead by example, your actions align with your words and you build trust through your consistent behavior. You set the standard and people follow that example.
3. Communicate openly and actively: When you communicate actively and honestly, you establish a foundation of credibility and integrity. Transparent and active communication creates an environment of trust.
4. Be true to your word: Keeping your promises and following through on commitments establishes reliability and fosters trust. Your actions need to line up with what you say.
5. Admit your mistakes: Acknowledging your mistakes and taking responsibility demonstrates honesty, humility, and builds trust. People want to know that they are dealing with an honest person who can be self-aware.
6. Be Consistent and Authentic: Consistency in your actions and character builds predictability, dependability, and trust because people know who you are and the values you stand for. Upholding those standards, reinforces trust in your intentions and decision-making.

WATCH: The Miller Marauders are gunning for a school-record, third straight 6A Provincial Football Championship this Saturday.
But standing in the way of history are the Saskatoon Holy Cross Crusaders.
@jacobcarr2280 has more on the team's quest for the trifecta.
