Not every season is meant to be lived at full speed. Rest is not time lost. As August unfolds, I hope everyone connected to education embraces the quiet and the slow. Refill your cup. We will be stronger for having taken the time to pause. Cheers.

This July, two books have been shaping my thinking: Competing in the New World of Work and Extreme Ownership. One emphasizes collaboration & connected teams. The other highlights accountability & leadership responsibility. Great reminders for educators. One team. One plan.

Just completed @uvic's Gustavson School of Business Service Leadership Certificate. The learning reinforced the importance of being reliable, responsive, and relationship-focused while building systems that support positive experiences for students, families, and staff.

Happy 🇨🇦 Day
