“Mankato is the team to beat in the NSIC.” “Well, I've been to one world fair, a picnic, and a rodeo, and that's the stupidest thing I ever heard…” Major King Kong, played by Slim Pickens in “Dr. Strangelove” There’s a cultural change that’s taken place in NSIC football due to the outstanding coaching of @CoachOJ_ and his staff. After losing 9 in a row to MN State, @augiefb has now won 4 of the last 5 with powerful performances. The boys could face Mankato again but if that happens there’ll be a different favorite. It’s still a 1-0 world each week and these studs are aware of the process and COMMITTED to it. By the way, congrats to the No-Name Defense players of the week (#32 and #33) who got their TURNOVERS and gave the offense the short fields that they capitalized on! (And are you kidding me, No-Namers!...21 yards allowed on 23 carries!)
