You need to see these photos to truly understand how dire the situation is at the shelter right now.
Pop-up kennels line the hallway. They’re arriving faster than we can make space. We currently have 1,039 animals on campus.

🚨 BREAKING: LA Mayor Karen Bass and Trump with a very tense exchange now... Bass is losing her cool over insistence from community members and Trump who say that clearly, people aren't being allowed back on their property soon enough.
TRUMP: People are willing to clean up themselves.
BASS: They can.
TRUMP: That guy right there that's talking - he'll be there tonight, throwing everything away. He doesn't want to wait. You have emergency powers just like I do. You need to exercise them.
BASS: I DID exercise them.
TRUMP: You can do everything within 24 hours.
BASS: Individuals can clear out their property.
ATTENDEES: When can we go back to our home?
BASS: We think... within a week.
TRUMP: That is a long time.
BASS: We want people to be safe.
TRUMP: You know what? They're not safe now. A week is a long time. I see hundreds of people not allowed to go on their lots. It won't burn anymore... it's done. They want to clean up. They are just standing there, saying they need a permit. Everyone says 18 months.

BREAKING: City Hall sources say LA Mayor has called @LAFD Chief Crowley to a meeting after she spoke to us with candor about budget cuts.
Crowley sent a memo last month warning response to a major emergency could be compromised because of cuts. @foxla

Another drone shot capturing the sheer devastation caused by the Pacific Palisades wildfire

New drone shot from Pacific Palisades shows entire blocks of homes literally burned to the ground. The Palisades Fire alone could become the "costliest" fire in U.S. history.

Unbelievable.

This is what’s left of the Pacific Palisades. The mall survived. Most everything else is gone. Homes, apartment complexes… businesses.

These homes are on the Malibu beach.

RIGHT NOW: #PalisadesFire #Malibu Fire has moved north towards Malibu. I am now near Nobu where right down the street, embers are trying to jump across PCH. Firefighters making an aggressive effort to prevent this as this fire threatens more homes.
Whoa. The nursing home evacuated tonight in Altadena burned down according to this reporter.
Gov. Gavin Newsom says the state has deployed over "1,400 firefighting personnel & hundreds of prepositioned assets" to battle several raging wildfires across SoCal.

This is Bowdoin St in Pacific Palisades. Every home is on fire. Crews aren’t trying to save them. They’re trying to put out flames before they ignite other neighborhoods.
So hard to watch this all unfold. So horrible.
I just left the hellscape formerly know as Pacific Palisades where I’ve lived for 26 years. I’m mad at what I saw. Our politicians have failed us. Unprepared, unimaginative, understaffed, now overwhelmed. Heads must roll for this disaster. I personally saw 100+ homes fully engulfed. @RickCarusoLA just mentioned water wasn’t working in the fire hydrants- WTF?! (I took this video around Pali High. Total destruction. )

At 9:37PM PT a 98mph wild gust was recorded just 6 miles west of the heart of the #PalisadesFire
So basically they're fighting a fire in a hurricane
Smoke could be seen for miles as a train car caught fire downtown. It’s carrying vehicles. This is right next to Las Vegas City Hall. Looks like the flames did not spread past the one train car and firefighters have it completely out. Report tonight on @FOX5Vegas at 10 and 11pm.
