The last time Taeo Meppen-Walter walked onto the pitch at Victory Park, he was celebrating promotion in his dad’s arms. On Saturday, he returned to that same pitch, surrounded by his family, to remember and honour his dad. In the most heartbreaking of circumstances, Courtney’s family were reminded just how much he meant to so many people. A much-loved son, partner, dad, brother and family member, but also someone who touched the hearts of everyone at Chorley Football Club. Saturday was about more than football. It was about love, family, togetherness and remembering someone who meant so much to us all. We will always remember Mepps. He will forever be part of the Chorley FC family. 🖤🤍 #WeAreChorley
