In 2003, Nickelodeon dialogue coach Brian Peck was arrested for sexually abusing a child actor. For more than 20 years, the victim's name was kept secret. Peck was charged with 11 counts of child sexual abuse. He pleaded no contest to two of them and was sentenced to just 16 months in jail. Before his sentencing, more than 40 people from Hollywood wrote letters to the judge supporting him. One director even said he would be happy to work with him again. The boy was just 15 when the abuse started, and it continued for months. He later called it the most traumatic experience of his life. In 2024, he finally went public in the documentary "Quiet on Set." His name was Drake Bell.
