It’s been a strange 2020. Opened with a 2.10 marathon PB and closed with a 62 half PB! Not bad for a teacher from Belfast (via @BChampCollege ). I have been really grateful in the last 10 months that we can go run explore. Lace up and join us...

Wait - so a doped athlete runs an OQ and ‘unlocks a place’, they are banned for doping but the place they qualified (whilst doping) stays with that country and ‘rolls back’?

Wondering what this means for 🇹🇷 women with regards to the Olympic #marathon? My understanding is that Sultan Haydar's NR unlocks a qualification spot (as long the result is not DQ) and that Meryem Erdogan or Yayla Gönen, who have the B standard (2:29:30), could be nominated.
