Mid-Week Macro
Back in early August, I said to expect a significant correction in the gold/silver miners between mid-August and mid-November. My targets were to expect lower lows, which were $3950 gold and $54 silver. Today, silver reached $55. Gold traded sub $4100, but $4000 held (for now). I expect gold/silver to go lower. We have a few more weeks to go. I doubt $3950 or $54 will hold.
The question now is what lows can we expect? I expect $50 silver to hold if it gets tested. I doubt we will see $3500 gold, but $3750 is quite possible. I could be wrong, but I expect this gold/silver correction to end in November and end the year strong. If the second leg (where gold/silver reach ATHs) does not begin in December, I'll be surprised.
My confidence for gold/silver resuming their march upward in Q4 correlates with my bearishness in the US economy. The S&P has been deteriorating. Currently, about 80% of the S&P stocks are in a correction of more than 10% from their ATHs, and 60% of the companies are down at least 20% from their ATHs. Yet, the S&P closed today at 7700. Why? The AI trade is carrying it. But the overall economy is weak. I doubt this will change. In fact, high interest rates are unlikely to come down anytime soon, and they are causing significant damage to the economy.
High interest rates are only one headwind for the stock market. The housing market is frozen. Private credit is a problem. Commercial real estate is a problem. The bottom half of the consumer market is weak due to cost-of-living issues. Inflation has not gone away. Gasoline/diesel prices are high. AI is killing jobs. The US government is borrowing about $10T a year ($2T deficit, plus $8T rollover to pay off maturing debt). The Strait of Hormuz remains closed. The list is long!
The Democrats have a chance to sweep the House and Senate in 3 weeks. Wall Street has been ignoring this potential outcome. I doubt the markets want this outcome. Can you say uncertainty?

$59 Silver. As I have been saying, the bottom is not in yet. We are still in a buy-the-dip window. 🧐

Let me tell you a golden tip in market cycle to spot a market top.
1. Yields peak first.
2. Then stocks,
3. Lastly commodities
Yields are about to peak now.
Stocks will rally hard until they don't.
Then, a credit event will happen and everything gets sold.

Few things ruin a great match faster than wondering whether an opponent earned the win or saw you through a wall.
Wallhacks give cheaters information they were never meant to have. With Modern Warfare 4, we’re introducing a new way to fight back: Server Culling.
Here’s how it works:

Michael Oliver’s (@Oliver_MSA) latest discussion with @TFMetals had a lot more substance than just “metals are going higher.”
A few points that really stood out:
• Oliver believes the recent silver pullback is likely exhausted, and that the summer low may hold as the major low.
• He compared the current setup to 2008. After that correction, silver went from roughly $11–12 to $50, close to a 4–5x move, while gold roughly tripled.
• His miners vs gold work is now showing a breakout. His view is that miners could start outperforming bullion significantly, potentially signalling larger money moving into the sector.
• On the long-term upside, he pointed out that the previous two major gold bull markets were roughly 8x moves from low to high. Matching that historical magnitude would put gold around $8,000–$9,000.
• And silver is even crazier: its decades-long range was roughly $5 to $50. Simply projecting that 10x range above $50 gives $500 silver. Oliver was careful to say he wasn’t specifically predicting $500, but added that he doesn’t think the eventual move necessarily stops there.
Definitely one of Michael Oliver’s more interesting recent interviews. The combination of miners showing relative strength + his view that this correction is nearing exhaustion is what I’m watching most closely.

Michael Oliver @Oliver_MSA and I recap the month of September, look ahead to Q4 and discuss the methodology he uses in making his forecasts.

TLDR:
CS2 bhops are frame perfect, not tick perfect
Set fps_max to 125, 250, 375, or 500 for best results
CS2's current implementation of bunny hopping (since 2026-01-21 update) has to be one of the wackiest things I have ever seen for a bhop mechanic, with lots of spaghetti madness.
I wrote a detailed report about it here: github.com/zer0k-z/cs2-movem…

Pavlovic is world class. He could have the most touches of the ball for any team in the world and I’d be happy for him to have them. Brain and technique.

Both Wirtz actions for the goals are exactly what he is - a small space genius. Small space geniuses only get activated when you have proper ball progression. i.e. not full-backs who aren’t good passers and not midfielders who miss opportunities for passes or can’t weight a pass. Check the roles of Mittelstadt & Pavlovic to supply him in both moments.
