Welp, my computer has been randomly shutting off when I’m playing WoW and watching streams. Been troubleshooting all night. Took it apart, cleaned the dust, reapplied thermal paste, and put it back together. Now I’m not getting video. Bleh. Think I need a new mobo.
Did You Know: The reason the sun rises and sets from the same direction in WoW is because early world textures were designed with intentional directional lighting and shadows. So to make sure they were never off, they had the light always come from the same direction!
Revisiting the place where Jen and I had our first date back in 2009. We both made level 1 humans on the same server and hung out next to the fountain and chatted for hours. Weird how a digital location can be such a special place for us.
Alright hopping on the bandwagon here with my 9 games that shaped who I am.
I went with the ones I remember being super obsessed with. Like playing for hours and even making art and like... fan fiction of
(I wrote 15 chapters of a Soul Reaver fan fic in middle school...)

Adding onto this, one of our narrative goals/pillars for WOW:Forever is "A hero, not THE hero". We take that super seriously. You might be a part of large narratives, but you are never the main character of Warcraft in WoW: Forever.
Someday maybe we'll do some sort of blog or post about our narrative pillars for the game and dig into that more.

Honestly it's crazy how parallel to Death Knights it is. Death Knights have the hunger, that pushes them to inflict pain or else they themselves will be in pain. With Undead Paladins, the power they wield causes them pain to use. But they use it none-the-less, and endure.
The coolest thing about Forsaken Paladins is that the light literally brings them so much pain and they channel it regardless. It's literally divine willpower that refuses to bow down. These Paladins are literally tasting life that's rotten, feeling a pain so intense it's almost like dying.
And they channel the light anyways. Shits fucking metal.
