I've just had my third jab, along with countless other vaccines over my lifetime. I'm very 'pro' vaccine! I also find lockdowns for the unvaccinated disgraceful and dividing society like that will lead to deep and irreversible scars. This is not a route we want to go down here.

Covid vaccine ‘waning immunity’: How worried should I be? "The good news is that even with waning, these are still exceptionally good vaccines ... Even with waning and in the most at-risk age groups, that protection (for cutting deaths) is still in the region of 80-90%."

@AsterGroupUK How much do you care for your elderly residents? Not much it appears! Elderly residents in 90's unable to access ground floor or outside after newly installed lift broken down for 6th time, told be at least three days before repaired!..

Today heating and hot water not working... residents told will have to wait until someone in office at 8am tomorrow to report it. People in their 90's... unacceptable way to treat people. I hope your Board is aware as they will be soon.
The most blatant covid mis/dis-information I came across today was pushed by senior journalists and scientists, including government advisors. I appreciate we're all tense and many of us are scared, but this is not healthy for society and science. I invite everyone to calm down.

How much time do u spend worrying about things? Well the instant u begin 2 worry about something, take ur concern 2 God in prayer. Totally trust Him 2 either show u what 2 do, or show u that He will take care of it Himself. Yes, prayer is a powerful weapon against worry. #TWFT

So called England fans living up to their reputation and booing Denmark anthem!! Sad.

Can anyone provide me with a telephone number to complain to @Hermesparcels about their unacceptable practice of leaving elderly peoples parcels outside a block of flats rather than take to the door. It appears i just get a nonsense recorded message.

Means what is considered proportionate in controlling virus is completely changed - and explains why full unlocking is still on the table

If this story is true and the IFR of Flu is 0.1% does this now mean that Covid is less deadly than Flu? Honest question please honest answers only.

Same article in DM says.. "with pressure growing on the NHS because of the spiralling outbreak over the past month". .... and then says.... "NHS statistics today showed pressure on hospitals was also beginning to slow down!". @MailOnline which is it?

Someone please clarify. Does this suggest about 4% of those who have had one dose were serious enough to visit hospital? I may b reading wrong. If so does that mean one dose is very effective against serious illness? Genuine answers please
No doubt others will correct me but I think if the test positive remains the same 0.8% then headlines of increasing infections does not really give the true picture!

So many new businesses started up during the pandemic. Always good to support them as much as we can. Please take a moment to visit this craft website for some great present ideas. Please retweet as well if you feel able. Carlyscreatives.squarespace.…
I wonder if now is the time to stop tweeting negative comments on lockdowns/vaccines/restrictions and just rejoice in the positive place the UK is moving towards now. Like it or not, the vaccines appear to be having a positive impact.

Is this blood clot thing getting out of hand. 5 million doses and 30 cases none of which is found to be relevant to the vaccine. If it was it would be 0.0006% of doses given not including the 11 m given in UK. IFR of virus is about 0.4% possibly higher!

@NickTriggle Genuine question Nick. If Vaccine prevents deaths and hospitalisations by about 90plus % (as suggested by J van tam) then why do scientists suggest may still need restrictions once over 50s vaccinated?....
2
Surely this then becomes a normal virus where people catch it, get mild symptoms, stay home for a week and move on. If vulnerable vaccinated then there should be no issue of NHS being overwhelmed again & suggestions of 100,000 plus deaths again, HOW?
Great service from @BritishGasHelp. Happy to take monthly payments for homecare from my son, they have boiler leak, water coming near electrical appliances and they wont come out until 10th Feb!! Be careful if you have any emergency!!
