Step by step, day by day, Americans experience the big social media platforms becoming Orwellian political censors. The US needs a federal government that will tax them and break them up; the democratic world needs to learn the lesson and protect itself.

Fuck it. The Resist Libs were right about everything going back to Day 1 and I apologize for ever doubting them. Impeach the entire damn administration
BREAKING: Russia and the US are discussing building US data centers running on Russian nuclear power, per Putin's economic envoy Dmitriev.
"We are discussing joint projects in the field of Russia-USA data centers, including with the use of our nuclear power plants," Dmitriev says.
He says Putin and Trump are discussing a wide range of projects. "I think we will be announcing some important initiatives in the near future."
"We have previously said that there is a very large synergistic effect between Russia and the United States in the Arctic, in the LNG sector, and in other energy projects," Dmitriev adds.

Trump-Russia is one the first “the libs were right” issue. Every single thing liberals have ever claimed about the Trump-Russia relationship has been proven to be true

When we started responding to Russia’s operation against our data centers, and when our strikes reached Yandex’s data centers, it suddenly became a little easier to breathe on many social media platforms. A lot of people noticed it. There was less hate, less division, and fewer provocations.
Because there were fewer bots. And it’s pretty clear where those bots were coming from – if they disappeared when Yandex went offline. This proves, again and again, that Europe is not the source of the problems. Europe is not the one making everything more difficult.
Most importantly, we need people in America, every morning, when the day in Europe is already moving toward evening, to really see what is happening. To see the truth.

What if there were no “shy Trump voters” who failed to respond to surveys and, instead, it was evidence of systematic vote rigging in favor of elections where Trump was on the ballot 🤨

Sooooo, now that the bots are dead, can we settle some points for good?
-russia invaded Ukraine illegally in 2014 and again in 2022
-the cause of the war is russian imperialism. Not NATO, not biolabs, not the protection of russophones
-russia is a terrorist state
Is the world starting to wake up and see how Bannon, Trump, Thiel, Epstein, et al all conspired with Russian disinformation bot networks to bring down the US and the collective West now?
Tfw you realize that the reason Putin amplified christofascism on social media was to weaken the West, put the most reckless and incompetent managers possible in charge of the US, and allow him to wage wars of territorial expansion. The bot network failure only confirms this.

Unless the goal is nothing more than provoking outrage, I cannot fathom the thinking behind protesting at an Israelis for Peace vigil on October 7th.

Anyone else just have a girl do an emotional closeness 180 on you in the matter of hours? Like in the morning being like “I loved making breakfast with you this morning, I hope I get to do it again” to “I don’t feel enough of an emotional connection” that afternoon? Fml

This is corruption of the highest order. Susan Collins delivered millions in taxpayer dollars for a corrupt donor bankrolling her campaign, and then Donald Trump helped her cover it up. No wonder she voted with him 96% of the time and has rubberstamped his agenda to hurt Maine.
Susan Collins doesn’t care that we’re losing our health care, that ICE is killing people on the streets, and that we’ve been dragged into a pointless war — as long as her donors get their contracts and her coffers get filled.
We deserve answers about every contract and every conversation that Collins and her team facilitated on the backs of taxpayers. The jig is up.
New: In late 2024, FBI investigators had enough evidence to launch a sweeping bribery probe that could ensnare top lawmakers, including Sen. Susan Collins. Then Trump was reelected and eviscerated the FBI and DOJ teams handling public corruption probes. propub.li/4yLLwaF

If you want to understand intellectual life on the right these days, it's useful to think of it as a series of memes designed to justify authoritarian and sadistic impulses.
Friend/enemy distinction = Fight the libs without concerns over morality
No enemies to the right = associate with the most hateful people imaginable
Immigration destroying the country = excuses to hurt brown people
Libs are oppressing us = this is what we'd like to do with them
All these arguments are bad and don't stand up to scrutiny. All the data says immigration is good for the country, for example, and that Trump is much more guilty of any offenses you might accuse liberals of.
None of the arguments are convincing to those outside the circle because they're just fig leaves for the underlying instincts, a way to signal they hold chimp morality to one another.
Movements don't just have policy positions, but vibes too. And the way that the modern right approaches cultural and intellectual pluralism and the search for knowledge has more in common with genocidal movements of the past than anything in American politics today.
