Graduation is in TWO weeks and transitioning to residency is tough and pricey, please consider supporting this first gen doctor and her family. Thank you so much med Twitter, this community is the best 💓 amazon.com/registries/gl/gue… #MedGradWishlist #MedTwitter #MedX

Mama I made it! After not getting in to med school the 1st time, after remediating 3 courses, after a low step 2 score, after 2 hard pregnancies, without support from admin, after several neglected SOAP emails. I MATCHED. Dr. Brie Brie, a practicing doctor, coming soon #Match2025

Unfortunately I did not Match into Emergency Medicine, and I am absolutely devastated. 😭 I will be trying to secure an unfilled spot in the SOAP. I welcome any support and thoughts as I continue to work towards this goal. AAMC ID: 14235771 NRMP ID: N1080964 #EMBound #Match2025

Fundamentally, I went into healthcare to help people. However, the same people I’ve took out loans for, spent decades in school for, consistently advocate for, wouldn’t even think twice about helping me. And that’s really depressing.
